Admission Instructions for Class XI, April 2025
Before applying for Class XI, please read the following:

1. The application will be available on-line. An incomplete form will not be accepted.

2. Following are the combinations available for Class XI  (2025-2026) 

3. Students are encouraged to consider the suggested subject groups for selection, but they are not limited to choosing solely from these groups. They may select subjects across different groups if they prefer. Students are expected to choose a minimum of three subjects, excluding General English, with a maximum of five subjects.

Subjects Offered at the AS level

4. Applicants found eligible to appear for entrance test will be notified through e-mail.

5. As part of the admission process for AS Level, students will be required to undergo the following assessments based on their subject choices:

• Interaction to discuss and finalize the subject choices – (18th November 2024 to 22nd November 2024)
• An Entrance test will be conducted for English and the other subjects chosen by the student. (30th November 2024)

To assess students’ aptitude in subjects not studied in Grade 10, assessments will be conducted through a group discussion or oral viva. (30th November 2024)

6. The school will intimate the outcome of the Entrance / Interaction to all the applicants through e-mail on 23rd December 2024

7. Please note that the school will not entertain any correspondence, recommendations or telephone call in respect of admissions.

8. The School Management reserves discretionary power in processing all applications.

Cambridge Advanced Subsidiary Level / Class XI:

Age: 16+

Admission commences in the month of February. At Arsha Vidya Mandir we take pride to mention that we have taken efforts to offer an equal balance in courses in the Sciences, Arts & Humanities and Commerce streams for the Higher Secondary classes. While a preference would be given to students of our own school who have completed their 10^thStd in Arsha we also welcome students from other schools to apply and would consider their applications fairly too. We would like to encourage and welcome a new student community for the Higher Secondary classes who share the same goals and ideals of the school towards learning. Online applications for the Higher secondary classes will be made available for a stipulated period of time.

Admission procedure includes:

Steps to be taken by the applicants as:

• Submission of their applications online
• Submission of authentic documents of proof of address as attachments
• Submission of birth certificate as attachments
• Submission of mark sheets of the previous examinations as attachments until 1st term of Class 10 in the school that they are currently studying in

Steps taken by the admissions committee:

• Applicants are short-listed on the basis of their academic performance in Classes IX (final) and X (SA1) for CBSE students and 1st Term Exam marks for students of other boards
• Applicants are short-listed on the basis of their co and extra-curricular activities, interests and hobbies too
• Interaction of short-listed applicants’ parents and children with school members
• Intimation of results of those who are admitted and those who had to be declined through email
• Intimation of dates for the payment of fees
• Kindly note that the admissions will also be under the condition that the candidate passes in the final assessment SA 2 of the CBSE assessments or in the final exams of other Curricular Boards at the end of the student’s 10th std exams
• Collecting the transfer certificate after the admission is announced
• Intimation of dates on the welcome, induction to the Arsha ‘family’ and school tour programmes
• In case there is a withdrawal of the student after the admission process and the payment of the fees, the fee will be refunded subject to the vacancy being filled from the waiting list
