At our school, we believe that education goes far beyond books and classrooms. Physical education is an integral part of our holistic learning journey. Whether it’s the stillness of yoga, the rhythm of movement, or the play of team sports, we recognise that a healthy body is the foundation of a focused mind.
Observing International Yoga Day each year is not just a ritual; it is a reaffirmation of our commitment to nurturing physically and mentally balanced individuals. This year too, our students came together with intent and energy, taking forward the International Yoga Day Promise—to integrate yoga into their everyday lives and to inspire those around them to explore the same path of harmony and well-being.
On 20th June, 2025, students across grade levels participated with enthusiasm as they flowed through a series of yoga postures, breathing exercises, and moments of quiet reflection. The event wasn't just about performing yoga but it was about feeling it, living it, and understanding its quiet power in bringing balance to our lives. The highlight of the event was a symbolic Yoga Pyramid formed by a group of seven students which was an embodiment of strength, coordination, and harmony. The celebration beautifully reflected the harmony, discipline, and collective strength that yoga inspires in every practitioner.
The school ground, bathed in the morning sun, echoed with calm energy as students united in purpose, embracing the spirit of yoga as more than a practice but also a way of life. This International Yoga Day, our students didn’t just perform asanas. They embraced awareness, balance, and the beauty of slowing down. As they rolled up their mats, we believe they carried with them more than just flexibility - they carried calm minds, strong bodies, and a renewed promise to lead healthier, more mindful lives.
